On June 15, President Barack Obama announced the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) order allowing some undocumented students to apply for work permits and to be safe from deportation for a period of two years, subject to renewal.
Join Asian Pacific American Legal Center (APALC) on Wednesday evening, July 11 for our Community Forum: DREAMers and Deferred Action. Come learn more about the temporary administrative relief for qualified DREAMers. All DREAMers and parents are invited to attend. Attorneys will provide information and details regarding the new deferred action policy, including: eligibility requirements, how to prepare to apply when the application process is announced, and how to avoid potential fraud.
The forum will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the APALC Community Room (1st Floor) located at 1145 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90017.
