APALC is running to advance justice as an Official Charity of the 2013 LA Marathon, and is looking for runners and walkers to join its team, fundraise to support APALC's programs, and enjoy the incredible course from Dodger Stadium to Santa Monica on Sunday, March 17, 2013!
If you’ve ever wanted to complete a marathon, this is a great opportunity to join the team and help APALC celebrate its 30th Anniversary in 2013. Our team members include Anne Inoue, James Toma, Sabina Helton, Camilla Eng, Sandy Yu, Long Cao, John Lim, Paul Jung, Toyo Kimura, Robert Chavez, Jonathan Chen, Nasim Khansari, John Flores, Povi Tamu-Bryant, Patricia Buske, Timothy Han, Jang Woo Nam, Hoyt Sze, and Rebecca Shea.
The 2013 LA Marathon has two options for charity team members. The first is the 26.2 mile option, for those of you who like to go it alone. The second is a Charity Relay option, only available to Official Charities. You and a friend will each complete a 13.1 mile leg of the course, and each of you will get a medal. APALC will help match you with another Relay team member. For more info on the Charity Relay: LA Marathon Charity Relay FAQs
Sign up with APALC's team by January 31, 2013 to guarantee your entry to the LA Marathon--registration will be capped this year. Charity registration fees are $145 for the marathon, and $250 for the Charity Relay team. You will receive a charity code from APALC to complete your online registration.
Thanks to all the donors who have donated to APALC’s LA Marathon Team. If you would like to donate to APALC or any of our team members, please visit LA Marathon - Team APALC or click on the Donate button to the right.
